Hogwarts Fantastic Beasts Display

Hogwarts Fantastic Beasts is a Virtual Harry Potter RP that is set to open in November 2016 on Metropolis Grid, although building ist still happening now. They hope to be near enough to completion to open to the public. As the regions are advancing, you can ask for a tour contacting Franziska Bossi on Metropolis grid.

In case you have no idea what Hogwarts and Harry Potter are, here is a little explanation: Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The novels chronicle the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Those books have been made into successful films.
Hogwarts Fantastic Beasts is a spin-off of that series, set before the events in the series take place.

Once the RP is up and running, people can start to be an active part of Hogwarts Fantastic Beasts. If you are interested in joining, you will have to be sorted into one of the four houses of Hogwarts. Sorting is taken very seriously, so it is neither instantaneous nor done with a mere click. It is a process where you will need to fill out a notecard and return it to the headmaster. You will also be asked for a valid email adress for you, because that will be the primary way of notifying you of major stuff like server outage, etc. Once you have been placed in your house, the fun can begin.

This exhibit is a part of the Forbidden Forest, where you can get lost (imagine getting lost in the much bigger original) and see many a fantastic beast. Beware the spiders – they will try to eat you – and look for the dragon (but do not go too near).
Have a rest up by the ruins. If you can find the unicorn, a gift for you is nearby.

Most of the things you see were created by Franziska Bossi and Eryn Galen, but they also used stuff that was freely available.

Have fun exploring!
